I'm Terry with Towers Murray Plumbing. Today, we are going to show you how to remove all the water from a tank. A couple of tools that can be used, household sponge. There's also a couple of different devices used to suck the water out of the tank. So, first thing you want to do, shut the water off. Flush the toilet. Hold the handle down for a few seconds till the water drains out. Take your sponge reach down in there. Suck that water out and you are able to just squeeze that right into your bowl. Make take a couple of three, four times but you should have an empty tank within a few minutes. Okay. Now, we are going to show you how a suction gun works. Most of them have a flat plate so you are not sucking right against the tank. Stick her in, pull it out. And again, just drain it right back down into your bowl. A couple of other items that you can use there are some powders nowadays that gels the water. You take one of these, once your tank's a good portion empty, sprinkle it in there. It will turn into a gel, you can do what whatever you're needing to do in your tank. When you turn the water back on and the water fills back up in the tank the gel turns back to a liquid. Again, I'm Terry with Towers Murray Plumbing, Murray, Utah.
