Hello, this is Coreen from Shakes Bakes. Right now, we are going to talk about how to beat eggs. A lot of times, we have forks in the kitchen, we might be wanting to scramble an egg or it may call for a beaten egg in a recipe. And again, we go for the fork. That's a typical thing we use. However, there's another option which we'll be going over today. And that's how to beat an egg using an electric hand beater. So, here's some things we need to get started. We need our egg, some sort of bowl, or something that we can actually beat the egg in. And our electric beater. First thing we do, crack our egg put it in the bowl. Some people know how to do this with one swift motion using one hand. I'm not so talented. But got the job done. When you get that in there, I put mine on a low setting. And I turn it on. So, depending on what your recipe calls for you beat it more or you beat it less. It all determines how much air actually gets into the egg and that determines how your egg turns out in whatever recipe you're using. It should specify. Now, this is good, this method is good for beating egg whites. That's good for making meringue-type things. It could be beating egg custard, egg yolks, which actually gives you a custard rather, sorry. And so, this is how you beat an egg using an electric beater. And I'm going to be making scrambled eggs with this. Bye.
