Now, I'm going to show you some exercises that can be used to help increase your balance. As we get older, our balance tends to leave us. So, the first one is the number four basic that we just did. The base stance, so you're out, holding the hands. Work at this to try to increase the amount of time you do this, do it on both sides. The next one is a variation of this base stance. And what we do is we stand with our feet together, with the left foot up, and move the arms back and forth. You can take the arms out as high as you want, and as back, as far you want. As your ability to hold this stance, is increased. And then, the same thing with the right foot. And the last one for balance exercise is, called the Golden Chicken Stance. So, bring your left foot out, then the knee, grab the knee with the left hand. And the toe, or the top of the foot, with the right hand, and hold it down. Now, the other side, same move, right foot out, raise the knee. Grab the knee with the right hand, the foot with the left hand. Those were stances and different moves to help us increase our balance. It takes a lot of effort and energy to balance. And one of the things in this Tai Yang Long style form, is it causes us to work on our balance.
