Hi, this is Joann Carlos at Hair Perfect Salon in West Covina. I'm here today to show you how to get wavy hair with damp hair. The first thing you're going to need is your squirt bottle, your mousse and some rollers. The first thing we're going to do is we're going to comb all the tangles out. If they have dry hair, you're going to have to, you know, use a lot. Spray it, dampen it. You're going to use some mousse. We're going to put some of that in, more towards the ends if you're going to curl it. Okay, then we're going to use some rollers. I like to use the Velcro rollers in her hair and I over direct a lot. These you don't need any clips, just stick the hair, roll it in, make sure the ends are down and it stays. Make sure you're using clean partings. Okay, we're going to roll the entire hair that she wants wavy and as the hair is drying you need to spray it otherwise, it's going to be very hard to comb through because the mousse is going to dry. You just keep sticking those in where she wants the curl with your clean partings. You're probably going to wait about a half hour, 45 minutes depending on how long it takes your hair to dry. Okay we took our Velcro rollers out. Basically you're just going to tousle the hair. You can always add a little bit of shine if you want and put it in there to help with some of the flyaways but this is your finished product. My name is Joann Carlos at Hair Perfect in West Covina, California, and this is how you get wavy hair from damp hair.
