Hi, my name is Joann Carlos. I'm here at Hair Perfect Salon in West Covina. I'm here to show you some solutions for heat damaged hair. First off, if you flatiron your hair you're obviously going to need something that's going to help aid in the heat and I have an iron smoother that we use from Matrix and we also have glossing polish that is good as a sealant. It's a silicone sealant for the ends. It helps slow the evaporation of your hair. Also a good shampoo and a good conditioner because you're going to need to condition your hair once a week 15 to 30 minutes, keep it in, good to go. Also you should trim your hair every six weeks. You don't need to trim a lot. You just need to trim the ends. The more you trim every six weeks the better your hair is going to grow. Also the extensive use of thermal is the major cause of heat damaged hair. You want to stay away from all heat products, rinse your hair with cool water. When you wash your hair it's always good to rinse with cool water because it also seals the ends and this is some of the solutions for heat damaged hair. I'm Joann Carlos at Hair Perfect Salon on West Cavina. Thanks.
