Hi, my name is Chris Palmer. Today, I'm going to show you how to remove a broken head screw out of your work. I don't know if this has every happened to you, but once in a while when I'm driving a screw the head snaps right off. What do you do? It's sticking up out of your work very bad news. Once thing you could do is grab your vice grips. Go ahead and tighten them down on the end of the screw and just back it out. It's important that you get a really tight grab on there. So, tighten up the jaws just to the point where they just barely snap onto the screw. Or if you can't find your vice grips, what do you do? You take your drill, remove your driver. And tighten the chuck right down on the shaft of that screw. And back it out that way. Once it's tight, throw your drill into reverse and it comes right out. My name is Chris Palmer. Thanks for watching. That's how you remove a broken screw.
