Hi, I'm Hilary Talbott, Acupuncture Physician and Clinical Herbalist. Today, we will be discussing an acupressure point to help alleviate the symptoms of hay fever. Now, a hay fever is a pretty specific allergies. But, a lot of times, I find that it affects the eyes, makes the eyes really watery as well as kind of a headache that occurs behind the eyes. So, this point, gallbladder 41 is very helpful in alleviating that watery kind of runny eye symptom. To find it, you're just going to start between the fifth and the fourth toe and you're going to run your finger down until you hit this tendon that runs across right here. And once you hit that tendon, you're going to jump the tendon and there's a little divot right where your finger falls. That's gallbladder 41. This point is super effective for anything affecting the eyes as well as headaches that are behind the eyes or on the sides of the head as a, in association with hay fever. You want to stimulate both points on both, both feet for the ultimate healing experience. Now, there are other points that can be helpful depending on what symptoms you're experiencing with the hay fever. So, I suggest that you seek out your local acupuncture physician and find what points are right for you. I'm Hilary Talbott, and that was acupressure for hay fever.
