Hi, my name is Tonya, and I'm an instructor at Gold's Gym. I'm going to show you just a few exercises you can do with dumbbells that kind of focus on the pecs. Alright so when you think of pecs you think this big chest, simple move with dumbbells, I just kind of like it. You've got these dumbbells, any size you want, take your arm out to like a 90 degree angle. All I'm going to do is I'm going to bring the weights in and actually twist my arms and as I do I'm feeling that chest. I'm sitting straight up. You can do this standing too but I'm squeezing, feeling that in my shoulder and in the back and I'm really feeling that in the chest area, pretty amazing. And that's exhausting. It's a great stretch for the back as well, two more. Last one, I like the twist because all the muscles in the arms are firing during that twist. Okay, another one, when you think of pecs you just think of like the bench press, the chest press and that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to come all the way down, feet flat on the floor, you can put them on the bench, whatever you want. So I've got long arms here guys. I'm going to open the weights all the way out. I've got a slight bend in my elbow, I just don't want you to lock your elbow here, some people do. But, I'm feeling that in the chest. It is ridiculous how much I'm feeling that. Amazing. Now same idea that I just showed you sitting up, I'm going to bring and twist and let the pinkies touch. So, before you can do like the thumbs touching then twist it where the pinkies come together. That is getting that wonderful shoulder work and the chest is just working together so hard. So, you come together with the thumbs and then you come together with the pinkies. That's amazing. I'm feeling that burn, thumbs, last one, pinkies. So everything is twisting, chest is burning, just because of these dumbbells. Simple, but it really gets the job done.
