Hi, my name is Tanya and I'm an instructor at Gold's Gym. I'm going to show you a few little exercise routines you can do that's really based around Pilates. Pilates is amazing for that abdominal core strength. Gets your body long and lean and strong as a bull. Alright have a seat. Lets start with the feet flat on the floor. And I'm going to head own one vertebrae at a time. And I think one of the greatest ones I do is a single knee pull. Pretty challenging. Bring in one knee into your chest and let the other leg be in long. And then you want to switch legs. You want to inhale and exhale. This looks fairly simple guys it's pretty challenging. You can lift the upper body off the floor as you pull the knee into the chest. Elbows are wide. Inhale, exhale. Three, two, one. That's a single knee pull. Gets the abdominals really warmed up. Now this time bring the knees together, fingertips on the head. Lift off inhale and exhale. Press the legs away on an angle. So what we are going for here is length. You're lengthening the muscles and it's really going to flatten the stomach. Two more, last one. Send the legs out there and then lift both of the legs all the way up to the ceiling. Lower them down not quite to the floor and bring them back up. Smooth move. Inhale and exhale. Oh that's an amazing exercise, I'm feeling the burn in the abdominals already. One more. Oh that makes me shake. Bring the knees to the chest and rest for just a moment. And that really, I'm feeling the burn. Last one that's just good stuff. Love it. Is a reverse curl. Upper body is completely flat on the floor. Lift slow and lower slow. Get that control going on. Those abdominals are just already screaming. One more time, lift and lower. Amazing. Just a little bit of Pilates, gosh that wasn't even been a few minutes or a minute and I am feeling the burn. So get on the floor, knock out a few of those exercises. You are going to feel it I promise you that.
