Hi, my name is Tricia Mann, and today we're going to talk about how to apply dramatic makeup. The key to a dramatic makeup is playing up one area such as the eyes. Let's get started. First, we're going to apply a gray color across the lid, patting it in for more of a dramatic look. Next, we're going to apply a darker color in the crease area. I like to focus the intensity of the color on the outer corner of the eyes which gives you more of a cat eyed look. And then, work the color into the crease. Using a blending brush, blend your darker color into your crease area, using circular motions and light feathery strokes. Apply a light shimmery shade to the brow bone and the inner corner of the eye to help get dimension to your look. Now, apply your eyeliner. Start at the outer of the eye and use light feathery strokes, working inwards 'till you hit about the middle of the eye. Then, you can do the same thing in the inner rim of the eye, working your way towards the middle. And then apply mascara. Since the focus is on the eyes, we wanted to use a neutral gloss to keep the attention on the eye area for a dramatic eye look. And that's how to apply a dramatic makeup. Thanks for watching.
