Hi, my name is Tricia Mann, and today we're going to talk about how to make a sugar facial wax. You will need two tablespoons of brown sugar, one tablespoon of lemon juice and one tablespoon of honey. You're going to want to put that in the microwave for 15 to 20 seconds, it'll start to bubble over, and then you're going to want to let that cool for about five to 10 minutes. Be sure to check the temperature before you apply it onto the skin. Use a cotton, moisten with some witch hazel to remove any excess oils on the skin to prepare you for waxing that area. Using a wooden Popsicle stick, take your wax and apply it to the area where you want to remove your hair. Apply your wax in the direction of your hair growth. You want to apply about a paper thickness of the wax onto your skin. Next, you're going to take a piece of cotton fabric; this one is cut at about one inch by three inches long and you're going to apply that to the area where you just applied the wax and press it with a firm pressure onto the skin. Next, you're going to want to apply a little bit of pressure to the skin to pull it taut, that will actually prevent any pain from the hair actually being ripped out and you're going to want to pull away from the direction of the growth of the hair and with a quick flick in the wrist, you're going to take it right off. Now, we're going to remove any excess of the honey wax. And that's how to make a sugar facial wax. Thanks for watching.
