Hi, I'm JJ Virgin, nutrition and fitness expert of jjvirgin.com, and today I'm going to show you healthy meals to eat for breakfast. Now first off, I want to share with you that do not need to eat breakfast food for breakfast. And lets face it most of those breakfast items aren't so healthy are they. Muffins they are really just adult cupcakes. Cereal and milk carbs and sugar. So, let me give you something you can grab and go cause so many of you tell me you don't have time for breakfast. So, I'm going to blow that excuse out of the water. And this will be healthy and give you nice sustained energy for hours. I'm starting with a wrap. Okay, so what I'm going to show you today you can do with just about any type of protein, leftovers, good stuff in your refrigerator. I'm going to start today with eggs and I've scrambled in some spinach and some red pepper because I'm always looking for ways to add more vegetables. But you could be doing this with leftover turkey, chicken, salmon, steak. Any type of great clean lean protein will do. And notice I'm really piling it on because you want to eat a good substantial breakfast. Don't skimp there. The studies show that people who eat a good substantial breakfast actually lose more weight and keep it off. Next thing I'm going to do is put in some healthy fats. And I always love avocado. Another great thing that you can add in here you could do a little goat cheese or you could do a little nut butter. Not so sure if I'd love the nut butter with eggs but it would be great with a little bit of uncured nitrite free bacon. And then a little bit of salsa to spice things up. And I'm always looking for ways to spice it up because that also boosts your metabolism. And it's a way to give it some flavor without adding in a bunch of extra calories. And then all we are going to do is wrap this up. Now I'm not really a fan of dashboard dining. But if you need to grab and go a wrap is a great thing to take with you. It's simple, we've got great clean lean proteins, healthy fats, high fiber carbs. Even some vegetables. So my advice for breakfast is to wrap it up. I'm JJ Virgin of jjvirgin.com. And those are healthy meals to eat for breakfast.
