Hello, this is Jeanette Conner. I've been a Visual Artist for eight plus years, and today I'm going to show you how to make invitations from recipe cards. To make this invitation from the recipe card, you're going to want to have a recipe card. You can either use a premade recipe card or make one your own. I just made this really simple one using velum that I typed recipe for, from the kitchen of, list of ingredients and come and enjoy and line this paper in the back so that they line up and ribbon and a stapler and a nice writing utensil. So, you're going to start out, it doesn't matter if your recipe card is oriented this way or this direction, but just at the top of the center, you're going to want to take your ribbon, fold it in half and staple it down to the paper. Just like that. And then just put a knot or a bow in your ribbon, depending on what you prefer. I'm just going to do a simple knot and tuck this under. I like using wired ribbon because it will take shape really nicely. After you've put your bow on, you can write the information for your recipe for your party. So, this is a recipe for a sterling party. So, I'm going to write a sterling party, from the kitchen of myself of course. And then list of ingredients, I think it's really cute under the ingredients to put things that you would include in your party. So, I'm going to say loved friends, jazzy tunes, bubbly drinks and tasty hors d'oeuvres. And then, after you've wrote the list of ingredients, you can write then your party information. So, I'm just going to say where the address is and the time and date of party. And then you can decorate your recipe card if it isn't already pre-decorated with stickers or drawings of plates and flatwares or any other nice images that would remind you of a recipe card. And this is a really great invitation for anything from a dinner party to just a regular birthday party. And that's how you make a party invitation from a recipe card. This is Jeanette Conner and today we learned how to invitations from recipe cards.
