Hi, my name is Tanya and I'm an instructor at Gold's Gym. I want to show you a few kind of moves you can do on the kickboxing bag that really gives you a great workout. Alright so first, you want to warm up the shoulders. You never want to hit a bag with a cold arm or a cold muscle. Alright so I want to start with the jab, kind of get my jab going, abs in. Then I'm going to add the cross. So kind of what you want to do with kickboxing, get the form perfect, then you add the speed. Awesome, alright upper cut, boom. So jab cross, up, up, one, two, three, four. It's all about combinations, speed, that's what the other thing's about. Kicking, bam, one minute, can you do it? Push through the heel, then hold it up, bam, push. All these muscles, working, four, three, two, one, other side, you do the other side, roundhouses. So, roundhouse on the front leg, not a lot of power, back leg, different story altogether. That's core, point the toe. Then you put stuff together, jab, cross, hook, get them off of you, front kick them, roundhouse them. That's how you workout on a bag.
