Hi, my name is Tanya, and I'm an instructor at Gold's Gym. I want to show you teenagers a few great things you can do to work the core. Alright so let's grab a partner if you want to or a friend, it's up to you but I'm going to show you some kick butt, core workout. So hands underneath your shoulders, so I'm leaning back a little, going to lift one foot off the ground then the other, send it. Kind of like a little modified V-sit if you will, I guess that's what it is. So send the legs away, pull it back in. This is a killer. Man, that's awesome. So teenagers don't have a lot of time. This gets it done quick, last one, fantastic. Okay so I'm going to come all the way down. Here's another great one. You can take both legs up, fingertips on the head, lift the head off the floor or you can keep the head down, maybe make a triangle. Place your hands underneath your butt and you just want to lower and lift the legs. That is really another thing, this is getting it done guys, inhale, exhale. You don't want the feet to touch the ground. You have the option of fingertips on the head. You can do this with or without shoes. Shoes is going to make it harder. One more, awesome, knees to chest. Alright so you want to think about the sides. I'm going to show you how to work the sides. Fingertips on the head, lift off, keep the knees right there, opposite elbow, opposite knee. So that's all I'm doing, five, four, three, two, one. So, you want to do each of those things for like a minute, that's three minutes. Then do it again, that's six minutes. So you can get this done, maybe three sets of those. Take you around nine or ten minutes, awesome workout, just do that like once a day. You're going to have amazing abdominals as you kind of walk around in those low rise jeans.
