Hi, I'm Amy Newman, Fitness Expert for Gold's Gym and Creator of the Perfect 10 Workout. And I'm going to show you some breathing exercises for high blood pressure. Some breathing exercises for high blood pressure would be, you would want to lie down onto the ground. Get as comfortable as possible and I would think lying down is just as comfortable as you can get. You can have your knees bent or legs stretched out. If you're up against the wall, you can have your legs up in the air against the wall, with your buttocks up against the wall as well. And that's also a good way to lay down. Have your arms stretched out and start slowly taking in a deep breath, "Hmmm", through your nose, feel like coming through your abdominal area, filling up your lungs, lifting up your ribcage and into the collarbone. As you exhale, feel it going the other direction; your ribcage coming down and squeezing it completely out through your abdominal area. Inhale through the abdominal, "Hmmm", through the ribcage and up into the collarbone, deep full breathing; exhale, slowly, "Hahhh", in the other direction, visualizing your breath, emptying out through your stomach. Inhaling, "Hmmm", exhaling, "Hahhhh". Inhaling, "Hmmm", exhaling, "Hahhhh". Listen to your breathing as you do it and do this for about ten minutes. I'm Amy Newman, Fitness Expert for Gold's Gym, Creator of the Perfect 10 Workout and those are some Yoga breathing exercises you can do.
