Hi, this is Ashley Fandino with Kathryn's Garden, and today we're going to show you how to make rose hip tea. Rose hip tea is a great relaxing drink that is high in vitamin C and actually has 20 times the vitamin C found in oranges. You can prepare rose hip tea from fresh rose hips or from the dried version. Today, we're going to be making it from the dried version. What you're going to need is about three teaspoons of dried rose hips, just place them directly into your pot, two cups of water, pour it over your rose hips. Now, we're going to take this to the stove and allow is to simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes on low. Now that its come to a boil, reduce the heat and let it steep for about 15 to 20 minutes. Now that your tea has steeped for about 20 minutes, you're going to want to strain it into your cup using a sieve. Your tea is going to be a light pink in color. And you can also add some honey to taste. This has been Ashley Fandino with Kathryn's Garden on how to make a very delicious rose hip tea.
