Hi, my name is Bob Linde. I'm an Herbalist and Herb Grower. Today, I'm going to talk to you about how to grow herbs to lower cholesterol. Of course there's a variety of different reasons as to why people have an elevated cholesterol and need to lower it. Most often changing your diet and getting some exercise is one of the best approaches for getting a normal cholesterol. There's a number of herbs that can be very helpful in helping the overall inflammation and also has been shown through research to really help with cholesterol. One of my favorites and one of the tastier ones is blueberry. So, depending on what part of your country you live in, you'll have to get a particular species of blueberry plant or the plant. Even here in the Southern US where we don't normally find blueberries growing wild. Through various extension services, they've actually gotten some hybrids that are very effective for growing in even the most tropical climbs. There's other things that maybe in your local area such as huckleberry. They grow much better in the Northern climbs in the US and other parts of the world. So, trying to find some herbs that are healthful and growing in your particular area such blueberry and huckle and start to supplement all the different wonderful culinary herbs in your diet and use those to enhance the flavors of your food instead of things that maybe more adverse to the cholesterol such as fat and sugar. So, as we start to improve our diet, exercise and supplement with all of the wonderful culinary herbs and in particular things like blueberry and huckle, we can actually find that we'll have a significant difference on our cholesterol. Not to forget that of course the exercise and work in your garden everyday is also good exercise and will be helpful with lowering your cholesterol.
