Hi, my name is Chris Palmer. Welcome to Chris's Workshop. Today, we're going to show you how to inspect your roof and how to make some simple repairs of what you might find up there. We want to look at our, the flashing around anything that comes through the roof is laying flat and is good. I want to check around my chimney, make sure the flashing is watertight. We're having a little bit of an issue with some moss growing, so I bought some moss killer at my local home improvement center and all I do is spread it at the top of the roof along the ridge and as the rains come it washes the products down and it kills the moss all the way down the roof. Look for any valleys or areas that can collect leaves or branches or debris. Clean those out. All those organic materials will just collect moisture and rot and you want everything just flowing off your roof cleanly and keep everything nice and dry. My name is Chris Palmer. Thanks for joining me. That's how you inspect and repair your roof.
