Hey, I'm Matty Teaney. I've played soccer my entire life. I have coached for the past seven years, and I'm here to show you a few things about the world's most popular sport, soccer. The slap cut is an offensive maneuver used to beat a defender. All you're going to do is, you're going to roll your foot over the ball, and push it out with the outside of your ball, outside of your foot, to beat your defender. So, if your defender's right in front of, you're simply going to go like this, push it out, and go around them. With the reverse slap cut, it's going to be very similar, just reverse. So, you're simply going to roll over the ball, push it out here, push it to your other foot, and work around your defender. So, it's going to look like this. This is the reverse, and this is the regular slap cut.
