Hi, I'm Chris Palmer. Welcome to Chris' Workshop. Today, I'm going to show you how to replace a couple of bad boards on your deck. The first thing you want to do is pull out all the nails and screws that are holding the bad board down. If it's nails, use a cat's paw and a hammer. If it's screws, just get your appropriate bit out and pull the screws out. Move the board and that'll give you your measurement for the new board. Go ahead and cut it and make sure it's nice and flat and straight. Put it in place. Two screws for each joyous location is not a bad idea to pre-drill especially at the ends of the board, you don't want any cracking. Fasten your board down and you're good to go. I'm Chris Palmer, thanks for joining me. That's how you replace some bad boards on your deck.
