Hi, my name is Chris Wade, and I'm a contractor from the city of Los Angeles, and today I'm going to show you how to clean grout on the marble tile. Here we've got two pieces of marble and we're going to clean the grout. Because the marble is very fickle when it comes to what kind of a solutions and cleaning products you can put on it, the best thing to use is some water water with just a couple teaspoons of mild laundry detergent. Basically you just want to spray it on your surface, get just an ordinary toothbrush. You just want to get in there and just scrub it lightly and then you want to wipe up your cleaning product very quickly and after you wipe it up take a look at it and if you do find that you're not getting the cleanliness that you're looking for you might want to consider redoing the grout. It's just better because if you damage your marble or tiles it's going to be much more expensive than trying to clean some grout. I definitely suggest once you get the grout the way you want it to go ahead and give it a good grout sealer that is acceptable to marble or granite. That way you can just prevent having to clean your grout and having to deal with that kind of a decision. Basically like I said it's just an ordinary toothbrush, some warm water with a couple teaspoons of mild detergent and just clean at it. Don't dig too hard, and basically just get it to the cleanliness that you want and that's pretty much how you do it.
