Hi, this is Jason Morgan with Muscleworx Fitness in Carolina Beach, North Carolina. Today, we are going to discuss quick exercises to help build your abdominals and your biceps. Well, you know when you are doing upper arm exercises, you want to make sure that you are including both bicep exercises, as well as tricep exercises. You want to work the antagonist muscle just as much as you want to work, you know, the primary muscle. So, if you are doing a barbell curl for the bicep, you want to offset that with a tricep extension or maybe a close grip bench press, skull crusher. There's a number of different exercises that you can do that are curling motions for the bicep; at the same token, you want some type of an extension, a kickback for the tricep. Most people like to work arms on alternate days. They work sort of a push, pull routine. Other folks will work the antagonist routine, where they do both biceps and triceps on the same day. The push pull is kind of like a back and biceps, chest and triceps type of deal. And remember, you are still trying to chisel your abs, as well as build your arm size. So, we want to make sure that we've got a good sound nutritional plan in place. You know, you have a multitude of abdominal exercises, you can do anything from crunches to leg lifts, to oblique twists. Those are a few quick exercises to help build your abdominals and your biceps.
