Hi, this is Jason Morgan with Muscleworx Fitness in Carolina Beach, North Carolina. Today, we are going to discuss workouts to help you build your abdominals and biceps. When you want to increase bicep size or arm size and you want chiseled abs, the thing that you have to realize is that it's a total body issue. We want to make sure that we are working the body as a whole. We are working every muscle group so that there's no muscular imbalance. A lot of guys especially want to increase the size of their arms, and they talk about doing curls to show the biceps because the girls like to squeeze your biceps. And guys like to flex their biceps. And that's all fine Jim dandy and good, but you have to realize that the tricep actually accounts for about 70 percent of the arm size, the upper arm size. So, if you're just concentrating on doing bicep curls or dumbbell curls and you're wanting to do those to increase the size of your upper arm, you are really doing yourself a disservice. Trying to get ripped sit-up abs, or that elusive six pack that everybody is after, really comes down to nutrition. You can do certain things with your workout by increasing the speed of movement from exercise to exercise, increasing the number of reps or even lowering the weight or the number of reps rather, and increasing the weight. Anything that can change the intensity level of your exercise routine will help you add size to the arms and chisel those abs so long as you have the proper nutrition in place to compliment it. Those are just a few tips to help increase the size of your biceps and improve your overall abdominal region look.
