Hi, my name is Sandy Morton, and I work with Headlines Salon and Spa in Clemson, South Carolina and today I'm going to show you how to diffuse curly hair. Okay, first you're going to want to get out of the shower, use wet hair. You can towel dry it or spray it down, whatever your needs are. Go ahead, clip it back. Personally, I like to use a product called Wool Shake, spray a little bit in my hand, kind of crunch it into the hair. I'm going to go ahead and wet this down so that you can get an idea of what I'm talking about here, spray, rub it together, in your hands and go ahead and work that through from root to end. I think that that's the best, kind of push it into the scalp to get that little lift and this is obviously, this is going to help too with defining the curl. You can also use a product called Curl Boost and that's also great for curly hair, just spray a little bit of that in, crunch it once again together. That's what I like to do. If you have shorter hair, it's, you know really nice. If you have long hair, you're going to want to. Hold the hair and start. Now a diffuser comes at the end of the hair dryer and you go in and you hold it up. Separate it with your fingers if you need to. You just kind of crunch it in there. Move it around with your hand so that you can get a good separation of curl and the diffuser what it does is it just disperses the heat versus you know, a nozzle that would have full power so that you can just kind of amplify your curl or wave whatever you have. You can pull it up. Long hair you can do this. Short hair, I take it, I just go like this and I just continue crunching it. You can also put it up here on the scalp. You can twist it around if you're a little flat on the scalp but yet you've got all this curl right here and that's going to give you a lift right there also because it's going to, these little fingers on here are going to manipulate and kind of twist the hair around. So if you want some extra lift, that's what you're going to do there. Also right afterwards, I like to use a little bit of spray to enhance. Once again, my name is Sandy Morton and I work with Headlines Salon and Spa in Clemson, South Carolina, and I just showed you how to diffuse curly hair.
