Hi, I'm Deserie with HerbalWise, here today to talk to you about an aromatherapy oatmeal bath recipe. An oatmeal bath is a great choice for relieving dry itchy skin including hives. It's very simple to make. You need a blender or some kind of food processor, a couple of oatmeal and an essential oil of your choice. I recommend lavender because it's also very soothing and calming both for the skin and for the mind. Basically, you put your oatmeal in the blender and blend it on high until it is in a fine powder. Then, while, to take the bath, while running the water, you sprinkle the oatmeal into the bath water and swish it around with your hands to make sure it's distributed evenly. And then, you add about twenty drops of essential oil. Be careful getting into the tub because the oatmeal can make it more slippery than usual.
