I'm Danielle Cavalear, professional makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you how to apply makeup that'll stay for the day. First, we're going to start out with our basic water based foundation. And, you're going to want to apply this all over the skin. Make sure not to be too rough on the skin, it's very fragile. We don't want to create wrinkles, you want to be very gentle when you're applying these products to your skin. Just going to do a layer foundation all over the face. Next, we're going to start out with a concealer. Any imperfections, dark circles, always want to do the corner of your eyes, as we tend to look a little darker in that area. Use you finger, and just gently blend. Next, we're going to want to cover the area with a loose powder. This will settle everything into place for the day, give you a nice, flat finish all over the skin. And, on our model, we're going to add a light blush. Got to have the cheekbones pop, it's very important on a woman, want to accent those. Light, circular motions on each side. And finally, we're going to end it with the eye. We're going to do a soft pink. We're going to go ahead and cover the lid in that. We're just going to stick with two colors for this all day effect. So, we'll start out with the pink on the bottom, and we'll go for a soft white for the top. That always opens the eyes, keeps them from looking tired. And, just start from the inner corner, work your way all the way around. Same thing to both eyes. Oops, sorry. We're going to top it off with a mascara. Just a light coat. Okay, look up. And, to top this look off, we're going to apply a more of a purplish lipstick all over the model's lips. Go ahead and smudge them together for me. And, this is how to apply makeup that'll last all. I'm Danielle, professional makeup artist.
