Hi, I'm Mickey Demos, Jr., here at Biscayne Boxing and Fitness Club in Miami. Today, we're here to demonstrate the use of the ceiling-to-floor bag. The purpose of this bag is to increase a puncher's accuracy. It's very fast moving. It's very hard to hit, and you'll also note that it increases a boxer's ability to slip punches and move the head and block. You'll see all these elements in Danny Lauchaire's work. Go ahead, Danny, show them how to do it. See, as that bag is coming back, he's moving his head side to side, and you'll notice his elbows are coming up. Some of the problems a first time user might have hitting a double end bag, a lot of people make the mistake they have to hit it every time that it comes back. That's, Danny will do that a few times, but it is very, very hard to do the first time you do it. The proper way to hit it is to strike and let the ball move, and then take your shots one at a time. If you try to hit that thing every time it comes back, it's nearly impossible.
