Hi, I'm Amy Newman, Fitness Expert/Creator of The Perfect 10 Workout, and I'm going to show you benefits for using the Yoga ball. We're going to do an exercise with our hands on either side of the ball. And I' going to lift the ball up, inhaling, "Hmmm"; exhaling as you lower down, "Hhhhhh". Inhale lift, "Hmmm". Now, the benefits are keeping your arms in the same distance apart and your shoulders even. We're going to go in the opposite direction. It's a nice swing, you're going to breath into it; you don't hold your breath. "Hmmmm", "Hhhhhh". "Hmmmm", "Hahhhh". "Hmmm", you can also do a seated forward bend, reaching with the ball both shoulders together. Slowly come back down, pressing your spine and muscles into the mat. Bring the ball all the way back and stretch, inhale, "Hmmmm", exhale, bring the ball forward and start to roll back up, stretching out as far as you can. Breath inhale, exhale, roll back. Inhale as you start to stretch, "Hmmmm", deep breath; exhale, roll up very slowly, pressing that lower back into the mat and stretching out. Exhaling completely, deep breath before you roll back again. Those are some benefits for using the Yoga ball as we work out. I'm Amy Newman, and don't forget to drink plenty of water.
