Hey guys, this is Michael Hanson with Revolve Fitness Club, and today we're going to learn how to do some rotator cuff exercises using a dumbbell. First thing, we want to do is you're going to take, depending on the side that you're injured, or wanting to strengthen, you'll lay down on a bench, you want to scoot back so that the arm that you're using for your rotator cuff exercise is held stable by the bench. Keep your right hand on your hip, and rotate using the dumbbell, depending on the weight up and to your side. This works our rotator cuff area and what we can also do is do the outside rotator cuff. When we do this, what we want to do is you would need a towel to support your inside, so what we're going to do is rest that towel right there, bring it on up, and we're going to rotate going up the opposite direction. And you're going to come up. You're not going to be able to go completely out, if you do, your arm shouldn't be able to do that, so we're going to go out and down. Again, count to two or three when you're going up and down. Good job, guys. Again, that was how to strengthen your rotator cuff using a dumbbell. Thanks for joining us.
