Hi, I'm CarolAnn with cyberworkouts.com, and I'm going to show you Yoga poses for infertility. The whole idea, to create blood flow and anything is running smoothly especially in the uterus. We want to create that breath or that movement that will promote blood flow. So, to do that, our first pose that we're going to do is just a nice inhalation, lengthening of the spine and then, exhaling, doing a nice pelvic tuck. And then sitting up nice and tall, inhale, "Hmmm", and then exhale, tucking that pelvis under and just getting the body moving in the lower portion of the abdominal region, into the uterus, all within those sexual organs. Inhale, "Hmmm", and exhale, round the back deep within. Now, as you're performing this, think about performing your kegels as well. So, what that means is that you're pulling up through the pelvic floor muscles, as soon as you're performing that pelvic tilt, really pull up. Another pose we can do is a seated twist. So, we inhale, "Hmmm", exhale, twist and look over the back shoulder and we're just massaging the internal organs as we twist. And inhale as we come to center, "Hmmm", draw those arms up and exhale as we twist to the other side. And you can perform about ten reps, "Hmmm", of the seated twist. Bringing those arms up and then relax. The next Yoga pose is a seated straddle pose. So, we want to open up those hips and really just loosen up here. So, you can spread your legs out as far as you can; you may even, even have to internally rotate to get right on your sits bones. You can place a block underneath if you're, if you're having issues there or even a blanket or a pillow. But, you want to lengthen up, open up those hips. Draw your toes towards the ceiling, so, you're lengthening everything out. So, you're nice and open and that's what it's all about. Once you open your hips, then, come out, walking those fingertips and just relax. As you're holding our seated straddle pose, every time you exhale, see if you can go a little further into the stretch. And just relax and breath. Make sure that you're breathing and holding for at least five full breaths. Gently lift yourself up out of the position and then bring your feet in together. So, the soles of your feet come together and you can gently hold your toes, sit up nice and tall, and press your knees down to the floor as much as you can. Now, if you're really tight in your hips, again, you can add some more blocks or blankets underneath the tail bone to position yourself or you can place a hand behind you if you don't have those tools. Lift your, your seat up or lift up out of your hips and gently, place your hands on your toes and lower your knees down towards the floor. Again, the whole idea is to open up through the hips. Inhale, "Hmmm", and exhale through the nose deeply for at least five breaths. Those are some great Yoga poses for infertility. I'm CarolAnn for cyberworkouts.com.
