Hi, my name is Melanie Wysong. I am the compulsory director and head coach at Black Diamond Gymnastics in South Jordan. This is Madison Hazzard, and she is going to help us show a shoulder exercise called piked push ups. She's going to place her hands on the floor, and she wants her hands directly under her hips, so she's going to slide until she's in a very straight position. The push up goes head first, straight to the floor, and back up. Notice the arch in the back. We want her to try and stay as flat as possible. So, straight down to her head, there we go, and back up. So, this works triceps, all through the shoulder, and even into the back muscles. It's a very good exercise - one more - that conditions a large amount of the body. I'm Melanie Wysong, compulsory director, head coach, at Black Diamond Gymnastics in South Jordan, Utah. And, we just talked about a shoulder exercise that covers a number areas in the shoulders, back, and triceps.
