Hi, I'm Charlotte Lawson, a Registered and Licensed Dietitian with some information on healthy snack foods containing Vitamin E. Vitamin E is a fat soluble vitamin, so it is often found in foods that have a higher fat content. Now, as far as healthy foods, especially since Vitamin E is a plant source of a fatty acid, you can automatically assume you're going to be having snacks from the plant and vegetable family. Actually, looking into a nuts or seeds and legumes, these are the wide range of different vitamins and minerals, but also contain that Vitamin E that you're looking for. For instance, peanut butter or even avocados. Avocados are an excellent source of Vitamin E, and they actually fit into the food group, if you will. So, keeping a wide variety of diet in general, but focusing on your nuts and seeds, as well as some of your other high fatty, excuse me, monounsaturated or polyunsaturated sources, like that avocado, should be an easy way to incorporate a little bit more of Vitamin E into your diet.
