Hi, I'm Kelly Machbitz, certified image consultant and beauty expert. Today, I'm going to talk to you about skin tone and hair color tips. So, you can change your hair color. Everybody likes to do it, I know I do it every once in awhile, but how do you know the right shade to change it to, or if you want to do highlights or lowlights. And the trick is to keep in your natural color scheme, whether you're cool colored or warm colored. So, if you have a cool color skin tone and cool colored eyes, you want to keep your hair relatively in that field, and that doesn't mean you can't go red if you have a cool skin tone. As you can see here, I have swatches of different colors and all of these hair colors are cool, even though there's some red, some brunette, even some blond in there, and all of these hair shades are in the warm family, so you can see there's a wide range that you can choose from. So, I would go ahead and check with your hair stylist and see what they recommend, but most often it's going to be within your natural color range is what they're going to recommend. Another option you can pick up these really fun little hair pieces. These are clip in bangs, and if you want to get a good idea of what you would look like in that hair color, you can just clip them in and see what you think. So, this is a brunette, this is actually a cool color, and it's not bad on her skin tone, it actually looks quite nice. Here's another one that's a brunette, and you can see how she would look as a brunette, we like her as a blond, though. So, that's some basic tips on skin tone and hair color. I'm Kelly Machbitz, your certified image consultant, and licensed beauty expert.
