Amy Hamilton-Weldon, Oakwood Nail Spa, Raleigh, North Carolina, and I'm going to tell you how to deal with brittle nails. It's usually because they're dry, and moisturizing them, keeping some kind of cuticle oil or cuticle cream. I think a cuticle cream would actually be better for that, because it's thicker. You can do it daily. You could even do it a couple times a day, morning and night. Or, like I said, you could keep it by your night stand and put it on when you go to bed at night, because you're just getting in bed, you're not going to be doing anything. You can put it on in the morning, but I tell people the best thing to do if you're going to wear it during the day, is keep it in the car. And then, usually you have, most people have, at least a 10 or 15 minute drive time to work, and so you'd have at least that long before you started working with papers or something. Because, actually, the people that work with paper, like offices and that kind of thing, paper will suck the oil right out of your hands and nails. Okay, those were just some basic tips, but you should always consult a nail professional.
