Hi, I'm Stan DeFreitas, Mr. Green Thumb, for When we talk about planting directions for directions for roses, we need to make sure we have a good selected rose, usually out of a container, or you may be getting a bare root, but typically you're going to plant it about the same depth level that it was in the container. A lot of people like to plant a lot deeper and that's really not a good idea. So, make sure you plant it the same level that you saw it growing in the container. Usually, roses are root bound and that means you may need to gently kind of take that rose and gently pull it apart. You can see here we're gently pulling those roots apart and we're planting it about the same depth level that we had it in the container. If you want to make a little mote around there, you could just to hold water, and of course, watering in afterwards is really important. Either take your hose or watering can and water pretty well. We don't want any air pockets underneath this plant, as we do for almost any other plant that you set. If you water it in well and make sure there's no air pockets, this plant should be off to a good start. For, I'm Stan DeFreitas.
