Hi, I'm Danielle Cavalear, professional makeup expert. And today, I'm going to give you a tutorial on how to apply eye makeup. First step is, you're going to want to either use a foundation or a concealer to start out a nice, clean palate. I'm going to use a q-tip here to lightly dab it, and blend it. Make sure to start under the eye to get rid of any dark circles. And next, we're going to apply our eyeshadow. Now, for our model here, I've chosen more earth tones. She's a brunette, she has brown eyes, medium skin, and I just think that these earthy tones are going to look best on her. So, we're going to start on the bottom of the lid, and apply the first color, all the way to the end, corner of the eye. And, I'm going to keep this color just on top of the lid. Next step, I'm going to go with more of a darker brown in the center of the eye, right over the arch. We're going to a nice, blended arch in the center. And, right under the brow, we're going to go ahead and add our lightest color here, which is a eggshell white. And, this will help open up the eye, keep it right along the brow, and slightly blend it into your center color. Same thing on both eyes. Keep it even. Now, for a heavier eye look, you can always add eyeliner to the top and the bottom. For now, I'm going to skip that step, and we're just going to move on to mascara, and top this look off. Our model has nice, big brown eyes, so I just don't think we need to use eyeliner on her. We're going to keep it natural. Okay, look up. Now, to top off this look, you can add a lip gloss, or a lip color. But, basically, since I'm focusing on the eyes, this is a basic tutorial on how to apply eye makeup. I'm Danielle Cavalear, and that is a short tutorial on how to apply eye makeup.
