Hi, I'm Brandon Snider. I'm here at The Downtown Athletic Club, and today I'm going to be doing a lunge and a press using dumbbells. So, I'm going to simply go back into a reverse lunge with my right leg coming back, make sure you have your balance first. If you don't just simply come right back up, left leg back. Exhale up, you want to come back just as far so that your front leg is at a right angle, exhale, shoot up through the toes and the crown of the head, inhale back, exhale shoot up. Make sure that you are really activating your leg and your glut, don't just do the exercise but actively press into the ground. You can also start to add dumbbells. You can do a shoulder press so inhale down, press, down, exhale, press, inhale down, exhale up. It's a great exercise for weight loss because you are doing compound movements and working the legs, the hamstrings, the quads, the butt, the core when I do a press. So, it's a great exercise to do for weight loss.
