Hi, I'm Brandon Snider, I'm here today, at the Little Rock Athletic Club in downtown Little Rock. And today, I'm going to be doing dumbbell high row, it's a great exercise for the shoulders. And I will show you how that goes. So, what you want to do is, go ahead and come down on to a bench. And if you're at home, and you have a chair, you can do that on a chair, or sofa, or ottoman, whatever you have. What you want to do is, stack your joints, starting out. So, I have my left knee on the bench, and I'm going to come down with my right hand. I'm stacking my elbow, my wrist joint, right under my shoulder joint, okay. And this right leg, which is going to be the leg, the same side that I'm working with my arm. It's going to be straight down on to the floor. What I'm going to do is, simply rotate the wrist and bring the elbow up, it's where my upper arm is parallel with the floor. Inhale, down and exhale, up, inhale, down and exhale, up. Inhale through your chest and exhale through your stomach or your core muscles. You know, in America, we are definitely a sitting society and our shoulders always seem to hunch forward. So, doing a posterior row is a great a exercise to help reset and correct your posture.
