Hi, I'm Kelly Machbitz, Certified Image Consultant and beauty expert, and today I'm going to show you how to apply body makeup, and body makeup is a lot like face makeup. The smoother and the cleaner the skin underneath, the better it's going to stay and the better it's going to look. So, the first step I would suggest is exfoliating with a nice product that has some grains in it; that's going to help remove any dead dry skin cells. Be sure to work the elbows, knees, anywhere where you tend to have a little excess dryness. The next step is you would definitely want to moisturize. That way your skin will look smooth and clean when the makeup goes on, and then finally you want to choose a product that matches your skin tone as closely as possible. For body makeup, I like to use a product that was designed to last or for long wear. This is a lasting foundation, and it comes in many shades. Once it's on, it's smudge-proof and budge-proof. It won't come off until you take it off. So, this is a great product for body makeup and for applying to the body, I would avoid using any brushes or sponges. I would just go ahead and use the fingertips and apply in nice, long strokes so you get a nice smooth even coverage. Don't apply it like you would your moisturizer, rubbing back and forth. You want to just have a nice smooth, even application like so. Look how beautiful that looks. And then, to remove it, you would want to use a makeup remover, something creamy, small circles, tissue it off, and then shower or bathe like you normally would. And that's how you apply body makeup. I'm Kelly Machbitz, Certified Beauty Consultant and beauty expert.
