Hi, this is Victoria Warfel, with DreamDogz Training, located in Gainesville, Florida, here to talk about how to use a remote trainer for your dog. You want to start with a good remote trainer. The one that I have has over 100 levels on it, so I can pinpoint the exact level that I want to work my dog. You want to start by finding his level that he is going to respond to, and cutting it back a bit once you find it. So, if he responds to you at level 15, cut it back to level 10 to start the training. And remember, we're talking one that has over 100 levels on it. So, you want to make sure that you get a good one, and you find someone who does e-training, or remote training, who's good at it, and who doesn't just shock the dog into submission. It's easier to use a remote training, they have a half mile radius to a mile radius. So, you have quite a distance, so it's very good when you're working with your dog off leash. It is just a gentle reminder that, hey, don't forget about me over here! Come back.
