Hi, I'm Amy Newman, fitness expert, creator of The Perfect 10 Workout, and I'm going to show you some Pilates-based fitness workouts that can help you in your Pilates workout. We're going to exhale and then inhale, lift up arching, tuck your tail bone under, round out your spine, pull your elbow straight then pull through. Keep a fluid motion as you inhale, exhale, no stopping, keep it fluid and roll up, inhaling, then tuck round out, squeeze your abs, exhaling. Inhale, lift, exhale round out. Now, you can segue into circling your arms around, exhaling, inhale as you pull it through, exhale as you reach around, inhale as you pull it through and then, of course, go in the opposite direction and that's what Pilates is all about, moving from one exercise to the other with a nice flow. Exhale as you reach, inhale as you pull then you can reach up and then pull back, pull back. Keep your toes down, exhale, exhale, reaching, pulling the elbow back, squeezing the abs as tight as you can and exhaling. Pull from inside then twist. You can segue into a twist which is also very good. When you do this make sure your neck is long, your shoulders are down, you are squeezing and you are exhaling. I'm Amy Newman, and thanks so much for joining me as I show you some Pilates based workouts.
