Hi, I'm Amy Newman, fitness expert, creator of The Perfect 10 Workout. I'm going to help you learn how to spice up your Pilate workout by using the Fitball and doing Fitball Pilate exercises, helping out our core is what it's all about, and using the Fitball is a wonderful way to get your abs in great shape, because you are balancing and you're using all of your abs. Now, you've got to push into the ball. As you lift up your chest, exhaling. Then you inhale as you lower back and you exhale, just like you're doing regular crunches but do them slowly and very controlled. Inhale as you lower, exhale as you lift. You can make a variety out of this too by not just lifting up but lifting up and then twisting, exhaling and then lowering down and then, of course, going to the other side, exhaling, twisting, inhaling, then exhale, lower back down. Exhale as you lift, go middle, then side, then middle, then side and exhale as you exert, exhale as you exert, and you squeeze and you lower your back into the ball, you push in the ball, that's part of the exercise. As you squeeze your abdominals it strengthens the core and you're definitely going to feel a nice burn right here which is what you want to feel as you're doing these exercises. Make sure you don't hold your breath, most important thing, deep breathing, exhale slowly, deep breathe, exhale slow, inhale and exhale, and it's a great way to spice up your Pilates workout by using the Fitness ball. I'm Amy Newman. Thanks for joining me.
