Hi, I'm Danielle Cavalear, professional makeup expert, and today I'm going to show you how to apply mineral makeup to cover up a blemish. As you can see on our model, Keelie, she has a small blemish over here in the eye area. So, first of all, we're going to start with a fresh brush that hasn't been used yet. We're going to use our concealer product, put a dab of that on to this brush and we're going to start lightly dabbing until we create a nice little cakey effect in that area. From there, I would turn your brush over and use the clean side to then blend in the excess cover up cream. From there as you can see, it's nicely covered, we can then add a tad bit of loose powder just to seal in the concealer so that it does not come off during the day, keep that blemish nice and covered. It will go on thick at first. You then just need to make sure you blend. You can use the whole eye area to blend since it is a skin color. On top of that I would continue on with your day's makeup. Add whatever shadows you choose, eyeliner if you choose so and a little bit of mascara and that will top off your look. I'm Danielle Cavalear, and that is how to use mineral makeup to cover up blemishes.
