Hi, I'm Danielle Cavalear, professional makeup expert, and today I'm going to show you how to apply makeup for the sun. Basically, when you're going to be out in the sun for the day, you want to stay away from the heavy concealers and foundations. Today, I'm going to use a loose powder on my model, that's going to be our base. So, we're going to start with that, all over the face, apply your loose powder. Next, I'm going to use a shimmery bronzer which actually has a SPF in it to protect your skin while you're out in the sun and you can apply this to the apples of your cheeks first. You want that to be your darkest area with the bronzer and once you do that, you can add a little bit to the forehead, a little to the nose and the chin just to add a little bit of a sun glow look. Now for the eye, I chose a slightly shimmery eyeshadow and this also has a SPF in it to protect your eyes. What you're going to want to do is just use this shadow on top of the entire eyelid. It's a very natural color so it's okay to do this. It's not going to look overly done. You can apply it all the way up to the brow, same thing with the other eye, all over from the corner up to the brow line. It's a beautiful shimmery sunshiny shade and last but not least, we're going to apply a SPF lipstick, believe it or not your lips can get sunburned so it's very important to try to keep a SPF in your lip gloss or lip balm for the day and just add a light layer of that all over the lip. Make sure for the day you definitely need to put SPF on the lips. You don't want any kind of oil or glass which would draw the sun and cause bad things. We just want to keep SPF all over the face and protect it. I'm Danielle Cavalear, and that is how to apply makeup for the sun.
