My name is Dwan Kelsey, and I'm a Nurse Practitioner with Well Life, a diabetes clinic and educational resource center located in Raleigh, North Carolina, and we want to discuss how to reverse pre-diabetes. You can reverse pre-diabetes once you have been diagnosed, and that is going to come with exercise and diet. And when we talk about diet, that is a person that is really really ready to change the way that they're eating, because with pre-diabetes and with diabetes, it's really a mindset change. We've got to change the way we look at foods. We have to change the way we think about foods and with that, then the patient is able to make a lifestyle change. So yes, you can reverse pre-diabetes by losing weight, by changing a diet, by lowering blood pressure. So, all of those will contribute to the reversal of pre-diabetes.
