Hello, my name is Courtney Gomez. I have been a makeup artist and skin care specialist for upwards of five years. And in this video, we'll be discussing how to get rid of pimples and acne on the neck. For this, you're going to need a washcloth that you have saturated in a mixture steaming water and lemon juice. You're also going to need a spot treatment for acne whether that'd be glycolic or salicylic acid, your preference. I have here today a two percent salicylic acne treatment. You're going to want to start by applying your washcloth to the affected area. You're going to want to leave this on for five, ten, fifteen minutes, however long it's still giving you some heat. This is going to serve for opening the pores. From here, you're going to want to actually tone, tone with Witch Hazel. That's my preference. I never suggest using an astringent because your neck, like your face and your decolletage is very, very sensitive. So, to the specifically affected area, you're going to want to add your acne treatment. So, this in a light dot there and rub it in. Once it has dried, you're going to want to move onto your moisturizer. I can't stress enough. Moisturizers are vital for keeping your skin under control. Acne is not only a problem of over oil production; your skin needs moisture and what better way to give it moisture than a oil free so you don't clog your pores. Thank you for watching. Again, my name is Courtney Gomez, and in this video, we discussed how to get rid of pimples and acne on the neck.
