Hi, this is Taylor Libonati, and today I'm going to show you how to draw the phases of the moon. The first phase of the moon is the New Moon which is the empty moon. So, we'll represent that by drawing a circle and filling it in completely. From that we get to see part of the moon in the Waxing Crescent which is just going to be a sliver of the moon showing. So, the majority of it is going to be covered up. Then we have a fair amount showing through. Next we have the First Quarter which is half of the moon being visible. So, we'll draw a line straight down the center, half of it is going to be covered and now half is visible. So next we have the Waxing Gibbous which is a sliver of darkness now. The majority is now the moon. Then from that we have the Full Moon which is just going to be all moon. Then we get into the Waning side which is the moon going away. So we have the Waning Gibbous which is going to be a sliver of darkness coming into the moon. Then the last quarter which is again half of the moon showing but now on this side. From there we have the Waning Crescent which is now only a sliver of the moon showing left and lastly back to the New Moon. This is Taylor Libonati, and that's been how to draw the phases of the moon.
