When it comes to head wraps, there are no real hard and fast rules. Hi, I'm Kelly Machbitz, your Tampa Bay fashion expert. And I'm going to teach you how to wrap an African head scarf. We're going to start with a very large rectangular scarf. This one is a cotton blend. We're going to place it over the crown, over the head, and we're going to bring it around the back, gathering up the ends. You're going to tie it underneath the hair. We're going to bring the ends up, and over the crown, wrapped to the front, criss crossing them, and then we're going to take the ends back around and secure on the side, in a nice little knot here. And then you're going to tuck in the end. so, we have a nice clean look. And we can do a second look using the same scarf in a similar tie, but we're going to take our ends and as we bring them around, we're going to twist them. So, we're twisting, and twisting, getting a nice tight coil, and we can wrap that around the crown. And once again, you're going to tuck in the ends to secure... and this one, tuck in, there. And here we have ways to tie an African head scarf. I'm Kelly Machbitz, your Tampa Bay fashion expert.
