This is Dr. Brent Wright discussing on how to ovulate two eggs during pregnancy. The first question being, why would somebody want to ovulate two eggs, and there must be some interest in multiple gestation, such as twin pregnancies, which occur as spontaneously in about 12 per thousand pregnancies in the United States if you don't look into in vitro fertilization. Are there any natural ways in which to do this? No, most of those are not a lot of modifiable factors that can help you ovulate two eggs. You can see your physician, there are drugs that are fertility drugs, such as pergonal and clomid that can help increase ovulation is some patients that need it. But, in a general patient, they may or may not be effective. Certain other modifiable factors are such as aging. An older woman over the age of 35 have slightly increased risk of having twins. Certain diets may increase that or decrease the risk of having multiple ovulations simultaneously. But, in a general scheme of things, there's not a lot that a single individual can do to increase their chances of ovulating more than one egg. If their desire is to have twins, you might want to talk to your doctor about the risk and benefits of that. There is some genetic predispositions to having twins, and there may be multiple ovulations related to that. But, this is Dr. Brent Wright, discussing on how to have multiple ovulations.
